I’m Jennifer Langille, the florist behind Bonnie Blooms.
This little studio began as a way to honour my mother, Bonnie, and has since grown into something truly meaningful—
thanks to this incredibly supportive community.
Today, I design flowers for life’s most tender and joyful moments: weddings, tributes, birthdays, and more. I continue to grow many of my own flowers, and source others with care, always striving to infuse heart, artistry, and soul into every arrangement.

I’ve been growing flowers for over 25 years, and with Bonnie Blooms, I’ve taken that passion to a new level. I grow specialty cut flowers that are bred for their long vase life, strong stems, and vibrant colours — varieties you won’t typically find in grocery store bouquets.

Local flowers are seasonal, fresh, and unique. Like seasonal food in a fine restaurant, the ingredients change week to week — making every bouquet interesting, one-of-a-kind, and truly reflective of the moment.
Unlike imported flowers (which make up 80% of those sold in North America), my blooms are harvested just before sale — not flown across continents. This means they’re fresher, more fragrant, and have a longer vase life.
There’s also a personal touch in every arrangement. When you choose Bonnie Blooms, you’re supporting local products, investing in your community, and receiving flowers designed with care and intention.

Although my style is inspired by nature, these are not roadside wildflowers, nor are they 'just garden flowers' —they’re the result of months of planning, nurturing, and work. Each bloom is grown right here with purpose, beauty, and joy in mind.

Bonnie Blooms is named in honour of my mum, Bonnie — a woman with a deep love for the outdoors and a quiet appreciation for life’s simple, natural beauty. She wasn’t a gardener herself, but she had a way of noticing and delighting in the world around her — the woods, the sea, and especially flowers.

Roses were her favourite. One of my most cherished photos is of her in the 1960s, on her honeymoon, admiring a glorious shrub rose in full bloom. That moment — her joy, her presence, her connection to nature — captures so much of what inspired this flower farm.
After her passing, I found myself drawn to growing flowers as a form of healing. What began as a personal, grounding act slowly grew into something more — a way to share comfort, beauty, and connection with others. Bonnie Blooms carries her name, her spirit, and the love she gave so freely. Every bloom is a small tribute to that legacy.
